**ATTENTION TIMED EVENT CONTESTANTS: Timed event cattle will be run through Friday, November 8th, 2024 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.**
CONTESTANTS ELECTRIC HOOKUP AND STALL INFO: Electric is $60.00 for the weekend (Friday through Sunday). Early arrival is an additional $20. Stalls are $85.00 each (includes 2 bags of shavings), for the weekend. Stalls and electric hookup are available Thursday at 5 p.m. and must vacate Sunday by noon. 2024 Season Points Cut Off: September 8, 2024
POINTS CHALLENGE deadline will be Sept. 13th from 8 a.m.to 4 p.m. If you think your points are incorrect, please contact Renee Prange at the APRA office at 610-413-5010.
Top 12 in each event, who enter during entry times, will compete at the finals. (Top 20 Contestants in all events are asked to enter.)

AFR46 Ground Rules
- A meeting of Contestants and working personnel will be held on the grandstands Friday, November 8, 2024 at 1:00PM. ATTENDANCE IS MANDATORY AND ANYONE NOT ATTENDING WILL BE ASSESSED A $50 FINE WHICH MUST BE PAID PRIOR TO COMPETING.
- All contestants will be given (1) Armband for themselves and (1) one armband for the weekend as a companion pass. If this armband is lost, you will then need to purchase tickets. Any other guests need to purchase tickets.
- Any misuse of Armbands will result in a $100 fine – no exceptions!
- Any fine incidents during the Finals must be paid prior to next competition after the fine was instituted.
- A $200 fine will be imposed for any turnout other than injury.
- NO faded, holey, shredded jeans will be allowed. All shirts must be tucked in during entire AFR performance – this includes prior to, and after your competition run. People are excited to see you and we want you to help us promote this event in a positive manner. REMEMBER THIS IS YOUR FINALS – DRESS APPROPRIATELY.
- No alcoholic beverages will be allowed in or around the arena.
- No cell phones will be allowed in the arena.
- Barrel Racing will be run in and run out.
- Two loops will be allowed in the Team Roping.
- One loop allowed in the Breakaway Roping with a closed gate – lap timers will be used if needed and a designated calf pusher will be appointed.
- Jerkdown rule in effect – all cattle are considered jerked down if they are jerked straight over backwards, no matter how they land. A $100 fine will be imposed for a jerkdown.
- A thirty (30) second time limit will be enforced for all contestants to begin their competition run from the time the arena is cleared until the contestant nods his/her head. After thirty (30) seconds, a $25 fine will be imposed which must be paid before the contestant will receive their next head of stock (Judges may use their discretion concerning chute fighting stock at either end of the arena).
- No one will be allowed behind the chutes unless they are a contestant or working personnel. Anyone assisting a rough stock contestant must also be an AFR46 contestant.
- No one is permitted to sit on chutes or roping boxes. Failure to adhere to this rule will result in a $50 fine.
- Payoff will be by Cash. Pay window time frames will be as follows:
- 1st half of rodeo will payoff during intermission
- 2nd half of rodeo will payoff after event is completed
