The APRA is based in Pennsylvania and sanctions rodeos throughout the northeast.Our cowboys and cowgirls compete in bareback riding, saddle bronc riding, bull riding, tie-down roping, steer wrestling, team roping, barrel racing, and breakaway roping.
The purpose of the association shall be to promote rodeo as a sport and profession, striving at all times to insure honesty and fairness to both the contestant and the producers; to create an amicable relationship among stock contractors, producers, and contestants; to organize, sanction, and advertise rodeo being sponsored within the association standards and to the prevention of cruelty to animals.
The 2015 APRA Judges Clinic will be held Saturday, April 25th and Sunday, April 26th in Attica, NY during the NYS High School Rodeo. There will be no charge for this years clinic. Certified Judges who did not attend last year’s clinic, all Qualified Judges and anyone interested in becom
