to the official home page for the American Professional Rodeo Association (APRA). The APRA is based in Pennsylvania and sanctions rodeos throughout the northeast.Our cowboys and cowgirls compete in bareback riding, saddle bronc riding, bull riding, tie-down roping, steer wrestling, team roping, barrel racing, and breakaway roping.

The purpose of the association shall be to promote rodeo as a sport and profession, striving at all times to insure honesty and fairness to both the contestant and the producers; to create an amicable relationship among stock contractors, producers, and contestants; to organize, sanction, and advertise rodeo being sponsored within the association standards and to the prevention of cruelty to animals.

AFR 38 Information

CUTOFF DATE FOR AFR 38 is September 1, 2015. The top 12 contestants in each event are eligible to compete at AFR 38. Please note, if you are in the top 20, please call in to enter. Books are open for AFR 38 Wednesday, September 9, 2015 and Thursday, September 10, 2015 from 7 to 9 p.m. 610-413-5010
